Praise Choir Worship Vocal Teams Children's Music Youth Music Drama Technical Arts

Our Worship and the Arts ministries exist to cultivate an atmosphere that encourages an unhindered focus upon our worship of God. A range of different and age-level opportunities for involvement are available in pursuit of this end.

Praise Choir

This is our largest vocal ministry for adults at Evergreen and is a non-audition group. Praise Choir assists in worship leadership as scheduled for special services. Please be alert to announcement of upcoming Praise Choir opportunities.

Worship Vocal Teams

At Evergreen we have a number of worship vocal teams that minister regularly in our Sunday services and in a variety of combinations as scheduled. Participation is by audition only, with rehearsals held on Thursday evenings.

Children's Music

At Evergreen we value the important role that our kids play in providing worship leadership in our main services. Our Worship and Arts department coordinates with our Children's Ministries to assemble and rehearse a "kids choir" for such leadership in 3-4 services during the year. Be watching for announcement of a next opportunity for your children to become involved.

Youth Music

A number of vocal and instrumental opportunities are available for students in ministry as members of either of our middle school or high school worship bands. These groups provide worship leadership in our weekly Sunday morning student services. For more information, please contact Evergreen's Student Ministries at our offices.

Drama

On special occasions the congregation of Evergreen is challenged and moved by the provocative and sometimes funny pieces performed by our "ECF players" as dramatic and comic illustration of an important biblical truth or principle for our lives. Drama enthusiasts who love to be on stage are welcomed to audition for this ministry.

Technical Arts

This growing area of ministry at Evergreen is vital to all that goes on upfront in a typical worship service. Sound, recording, video and power point are among the media operations required, including equipment set-up, operation and take-down. We are always eager to talk with prospective new recruits with some level of skill and experience in this area of service.
