At Evergreen there are a number of services to facilitate the satisfaction of needs particular to those who have begun joining us for worship and who are interested in knowing more about ECF and its ministries.

Greeters Ministry

We realize that our guests may appreciate some assistance in finding their way around an unfamiliar building like ours at Beaver Lake Middle School. Our Sunday service hosts and hostesses are available at each entrance and inside our main auditorium for this purpose and can be identified by their nametags.

Information Center

Here our guests will find a sampling of information about ministries, activities and programs at Evergreen, available every Sunday morning in the auditorium at Beaver Lake Middle School. A helpful attendant will also be there to provide assistance in answering questions. Our most popular publication for the newcomer is Inside Evergreen, which gives an overview of all ECF ministries and programs.

Newcomers Parties

Within a month of their first visit every newcomer to Evergreen is invited to an informal gathering held between our two Sunday morning services from 10:00 to 10:30 A.M. in the Staff Lounge at Beaver Lake Middle School. This is a great opportunity to receive a more personal welcome and to meet some of our ministry leaders. If you are new to ECF, watch for a note in your mailbox or an invitation in our weekly bulletin, or check-out our Calendar page for our next Newcomers Party date. Newcomers Parties are usually scheduled on the third Sunday of each month.

Discovering Evergreen

Our Discovering Evergreen Seminar is designed to provide orientation to the ministry of Evergreen for inquirers and those wishing to become formal members of Evergreen Christian Fellowship. Course content includes

• The benefits of church membership


• What Evergreen believes


• Evergreen's mission, vision and strategy


• Becoming involved at Evergreen

Discovering Evergreen is offered in the fall, winter and spring and in two parts on consecutive Sunday mornings during our second service hour, 10:30 to 11:45 A.M., in the Staff Lounge at Beaver Lake Middle School.
