Our Purpose
Our Men's Ministry is commonly referred to as MOE (Men of Evergreen). We are guided by the scripture in Proverbs 27:17, "as iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another." This describes our ministry to men, it centers around practical teaching and experiences that augment personal and spiritual growth. Our goal is learning how to be influential and model leadership in the family, workplace and community.
To facilitate the interaction and growth in the MOE community, special events are planned that try to provide a broad array of opportunities for men, recognizing we all have different passions, limitations and time constraints. Through various activites such as weekend retreats, skeet/trap shooting, hikes, breakfast meetings and golf outings men are encouraged to participate and in the process, grow spiritually and create accountability bonds with other men. MOE continually seeks input from the men on new ideas that will help draw more men to this time of fellowship and ultimately grow the spiritual maturity of the Men of Evergreen.
Men's Breakfast
The first and third Saturday's of the month provide an opportunity for the men at Evergreen Christian Fellowship to come together, enjoy a meal, some fellowship and some great worship and teaching. The breakfast begins at 7:30 A.M. and is available at no cost with no reservation necessary, it's a great place to get plugged in and meet some great guys!
