Evergreen Christian Fellowship is a community seeking to build an environment in which people can comfortably inquire of the things of God and grow in faith and service. We are committed to the truth of the Bible and the proclamation of the good news of Jesus Christ.
The church was established in 1989 as church plant of Overlake Christian Church. Early and rapid growth prompted multiple services. The church continued to experience growth while adding to its programs and staff, establishing itself as a flourishing congregation of believers in the Issaquah area. In 1996 Evergreen moved its Sunday services onto the Plateau, at Beaver Lake Middle School, while maintaining office and mid-week meeting space at Cascade Business Park in Issaquah. As of this year we have moved to our permanent property in the central business district of Sammamish.
We are an unaffiliated, non-denominational Bible church. Average attendance is 650 with a wide variety of ministries.

What We Believe
We believe that there is one true and holy God, who is eternally existent and manifests Himself in three persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.
We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that He came to earth in the form of man, that He died on the cross to save man from the just penalty of his sin and that He rose from the grave to confirm the gift of eternal life to all who accept His sacrifice.
We believe that man is sinful and, therefore, separated from God, but that his sin is forgiven and a personal relationship with God established through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ as Savior.
We believe that upon acceptance of Christ as Savior and surrender to Him as Lord, the Holy Spirit dwells within the believer to grant assurance of eternal life, to serve as Counselor and Guide and to provide the gifts with which to serve, as well as the power by which to live a transformed life.
We believe that the Church is the body of people who love and follow Jesus Christ, that every believer is called to active membership in a local church and that the mission of the Church is to glorify God, to proclaim the good news of Christ and to equip believers to live and serve as His disciples.
We believe that the Bible is the inspired, inerrant Word of God, and that it is our absolute authority in all matters of doctrine and Christian living.
We believe that Jesus Christ is coming again to reign as King of Kings and to gather His people, the Church, to be with Him for eternity.
